The UF Water Institute is a consortium member of the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (SECASC), a USGS-funded network that brings together researchers and natural and cultural resource managers to develop science and tools for climate adaptation. In collaboration with the Nature Coast Biological Station, the Water Institute contributes to and expands multi-institutional working groups by engaging UF faculty and students in collaborative efforts with external partners. These activities have supported the development of new interdisciplinary initiatives, including the Bridging the Gap: Integrating Water Management and Ecosystem Science for Resilience in Florida working group.
