Water Institute Student Showcase

Once a semester, the Water Institute hosts the Student Showcase, a full day event bringing together students, faculty, and staff. This event is created and run with the Water Institute Ambassadors, and it features water-focused research presentations, networking, and professional development. Topics for the professional development workshop change each semester to best match the needs of our student community. The water-focused research presentations are by Water Institute Travel and Research Award recipients, and the event concludes with a Distinguished Scholar seminar.

UF Water Institute Biennial Symposium

The Biennial UF Water Institute Symposium is hosted every two years in partnership with Duke Energy and the IFAS Office of Conferences and Institutes. It brings together scientists, students, practitioners, policy experts, and community leaders to engage in interdisciplinary exchange around pressing water issues. The broad participation from various sectors enables participants to bridge disciplinary and sectoral dimensions to address complex water challenges for Florida and beyond. This year featured the 10th Water Institute Biennial Symposium.
